Ben MironerBen Mironer has been an associate attorney at The Kavinoky Law Firm since 2008. He has consistently been able to get amazing results in the Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara areas. Ben has handled over 500 DUI cases, and has the experience needed to fight DUI charges, a DMV APS action, a criminal appeal, a petition for writ of mandate, or to clear your criminal record through early termination of probation, felony reduction to misdemeanor, and expungement. His results speak for themselves, and he has continuously helped people to keep their license and stay out of jail. He has experience as a trial attorney, and will not hesitate to take a case to trial and win. Ben’s abilities in litigating trials, writing motions, and preparing writs is second only to his ability to communicate with his clients. He has represented many of our celebrity clients, and has been able to keep their matters very discreet. Ben takes the time to ensure that every step in the process is easy to understand, and that our client’s feel taken care of.

Ben has handled all kinds of criminal cases, from domestic violence charges, assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and vandalism, to possession of a controlled substance, hit and run, driving on a suspended license, and even fraud. He has been able to get many cases filed as felonies, reduced to misdemeanors. Ben has also been very successful in getting cases dismissed without a trial, or prevailing in trial. He also has a reputation of working with prosecutors proactively to try and get alternative sentencing when it’s appropriate. Ben prides himself on getting clients the best results possible.

Ben earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California Los Angeles and his law degree from Western State University College of Law, where he edited and wrote for the Law Review. After being admitted to the California Bar, Ben clerked in the Sixth District Court of Appeal under Justice Franklin D. Elia. While researching and writing several bench memoranda for the judge, Ben attained an insight and knowledge in the appellate system and judicial review. He was recruited by The Kavinoky Law Firm in 2008 from the Court of Appeal, and he has worked at the Firm ever since.
